Sherwin-Williams

Sherwin-Williams has been a proud supporter of the Hilliard Ohio Historical Society for many years. Trisha Clark is the manager of the Sherwin-Williams Hilliard East location, which has been serving the community since its opening in October 2022. Founded in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1866 by Henry Sherwin and Edward Williams, Sherwin-Williams has built a long-standing reputation as a leader in the paint industry.

As a retail store, Sherwin-Williams specializes in architectural paint for both interior and exterior applications. In addition to their extensive selection of paint, they offer a wide range of supplies for nearly any project and provide custom stain matching services to meet their customers' unique needs.

There are two Sherwin-Williams locations in the Hilliard area. The Hilliard East store is located at 3873 Park Mill Run Dr., in the Mill-Run area next to CVS. The Hilliard West location can be found at 3680 Main Street, situated at the end of the strip mall alongside businesses such as Habaneros and Golden China Express.

Hilliard holds a special place in Trisha Clark’s heart, as it has been her home since birth. Born at Riverside Methodist Hospital, she was brought home to Leap Rd., where she lived on and off until her mid-20s. After spending time in the Sawmill Rd. and Grandview areas, she and her husband, Nathan Clark, purchased their first home in Hilliard, where they are raising their two daughters.

“Hilliard has grown so much since I was a child,” Trisha says. “But I still run into people I know or those who knew my parents, aunts, uncles, and even my grandparents. Hilliard is home!”

Her deep connection to the community inspired her to apply for the manager position at Sherwin-Williams Hilliard East. Since 2016, her children have attended schools in the Hilliard School District, reinforcing her commitment to the area. She is proud of her family's long-established history in Hilliard, including her grandmother’s active involvement with the Hilliard Historical Society.

Sherwin-Williams opened a second location in Hilliard to meet the growing demand for high-quality paint and supplies, particularly with the increase in apartment complexes and senior living communities in the area.

“I absolutely love this community and hope to continue supporting it through donations to local events,” Trisha says.

Sherwin-Williams’ mission is to "cover the earth" by becoming the world’s leading paint company. Their purpose is to inspire and improve communities by protecting and coloring what matters most.

Many residents may not realize that Hilliard is home to two Sherwin-Williams locations. Trisha believes this is partly because the Mill-Run store is "off the beaten path." If you're planning a painting or staining project, consider Sherwin-Williams—not only for their quality products but also because they are dedicated supporters of the Hilliard Ohio Historical Society.
