Latest Events
The Hilliard Historical Society joins the city of Hilliard for their annual Hilliard Tree Lighting on Dec. 1st from 4-6:30 PM. Writing letters to Santa, face painting, live reindeer, gingerbread inflatable, balloon twisting, harpist in the church, music and Christmas decorations in the buildings. Gift shop is open for buying for buying unique gifts.
Santa’s Here! Meet Santa in the Train Station on Dec. 15th from 2-5:00PM! Horse drawn wagon rides, holiday music, hot chocolate and donuts for all! Free admission.

Set up those educational field trips for May!
If you’re a teacher of ages 7-11 and want your students to have a hands-on experience of life in the 1800s, this is an ideal place for them! We offer amazing guided tours throughout eight authentic buildings and a museum where students get a taste of life long ago.
If you can’t come to us, we can come to you with our History In A Suitcase Program.

We have the perfect selection of venues for you! Choose from the charming Colwell Chapel, Gazebo or Pavilions to hold your special event. Donna will be happy to help with any event. Spaces are available from April 1 - November 30.

High School students’ opportunities for community service or honors hours available year round!
Memberships: Individual, Individual 10-Year, Family, Junior and Contributing/Business Memberships are a great way to help us keep history alive and become a part of it all.
